1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Samosa, operated by Samosa LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Samosa mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to use the Platform.
By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share on the Platform ("User Content").
By posting or uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
You are solely responsible for your content and agree that it will not:
- Violate any law or third-party rights (including copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights).
- Contain hate speech, nudity, sexual content, or violent material.
- Promote discrimination, terrorism, or harm toward any group or individual.
We may remove or restrict access to any content that violates these rules or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Interfere with, damage, or disrupt the Platform's operation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
6. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, software, design elements, and content created by Samosa LLC are the property of Samosa LLC or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
7. Community and Moderation
We aim to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive community.
We may use a combination of human review and automated systems (including AI tools) to moderate posts and detect harmful or prohibited content.
Repeated violations may result in removal, suspension, or legal action.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or for other legitimate business reasons.
You may delete your account at any time through your settings or by contacting support@samosa.social.
Upon termination, certain rights (like your license to us) and obligations (like indemnification and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samosa LLC and its affiliates, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Platform in the preceding 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Samosa LLC, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Updates to the Terms
We may modify or update these Terms periodically.
If changes are material, we will notify you through the Platform or by email.
Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Seattle, Washington.
